School Attainment 2022-23

A notice from the Department for Education: School performance data for the 2022/23 academic year should be used with caution given the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected individual schools and pupils differently.

Early Years Foundation Stage

Good Level of Development: 80%

Year 1 Phonics Screening Check Pass Mark: 73% 

Year 2 Phonics Screeing Check Pass Mark: 50%

Key Stage 1 Outcomes

Reading: Expected Standard plus Greater Depth Standard (GDS): 60%        GDS: 25%

School Attainment 2019-2020

Due to Covid 19 and the closure of all schools there was no statutory testing or submission of assessments from Early Years, Year 2 End of Key Stage Assessments, Year 5 multiplication Test or Year 6 SATs.

Here at Catsfield we always check pupil progress throughout the year. Year 6 mock Statutory Assessment Tests took place in March 2020 before the school was closed. These tests took place under strict exam conditions similarly applied for the real tests in May. This is our usual practice to support pupils in knowing what exam conditions feel like and how much time they have to complete the tests.

Year 1 and 2 Phonics Screening did still take place in December of 2020. These were submitted to the local authority and Department for Education.
